The Roswell CC project was a 4” O.D. HDPE water irrigation pipe that ran through a golf course in Roswell, GA. The golf course had an 8’ deep lake that the pipe had to travel through, meaning weighting would be required. PipeSak Geotextile Pipeline Weights were ideal since they can be installed on the floating pipe. 50 PipeSaks successfully sunk the pipe to the bed of the lake with no trenching required. The non-leaching, permeable geotextile fabric allows ground water to flow through the PipeSaks, supporting catholic protection systems.
