Golden Meadow Pipeline

The Golden Meadow pipeline is a 10” O.D. pipe located in Golden Meadow, LA. The pipe had to be laid parallel to a road prior to placing it in the trench. For safety reasons, additional weight needed to be applied to provide stability for the pipe while out of trench. Although PipeSaks are primarily used in-trench, the use of the weights out of trench was a safe and cost-effective solution. 32 PipeSaks for 16” O.D. were used for a heavier weight instead of the smaller 10” O.D. weight. The PipeSaks were easily removed with no damage to the pipe when it was time to lower in.
