The Kasabonika Lake Sanitary Forcemain was a 6” pipe in Kasabonika Lake in Northern Ontario that needed buoyancy control for 300 meters. This was a pre-existing pipe that had concrete weights break off. Without weighting, waves and current had moved the pipe onto a rocky shale and caused damage. The pipe had to be replaced to its original position and reweighted with a GPW which would not breakdown or rust in an open water application. PipeSak was able to provide 273 weights in a timely manner to prevent the pipe from shifting again.
