January 1, 2005 : New Strap-on PipeSak pipeline weights!

The strap-on PipeSak gives the contractor or engineer a soft weight option for areas that would typically use either concrete bolt-on weights or concrete coated pipe. Installation is extremely quick and easy with no need for impact wrenches or other tools. In rocky conditions the strap-on PipeSak does double-duty by also holding the pipe up off the trench bottom till sand padding is dumped in. Our strap-on bag continues with our patented top-loading design that allows for easy filling by hand or, for large numbers, with our Quick-Fill & Release Hopper System. As with our set-on weights, strap-on PipeSaks are 'soft' on the pipeline coating. The permeable geotextile fabric not only lasts 'forever' it also allows ground water AND cathodic protection an easy path to the pipeline.
