The Green Country Power Project was a 16” pipe that runs through Jenks, Oklahoma and due to this project being in a flood plain, 100 yards of buoyancy control was needed. To keep the project on schedule, a quick and easy installation was needed. After getting a spacing estimate from PipeSak’s engineering team, it was determined that 42 PipeSak® saddlebag weights would be needed to prevent the pipe from floating when flooding occurred. The PipeSak® Geotextile Pipeline Weights were filled on the ROW and the low-profile design meant that no extra trench depth was needed.
