PipePillo® structured pipeline supports
Leveraging the initial PipePillo® structured pipeline support success on the Matterhorn pipeline project, the same Contractor decided to use PipePillo® to string approximately 80 miles of 24” pipe on the Targa Resources Daytona Pipeline. For this project, the contractor ordered enough PipePillo structured pipeline supports to string 30 miles of pipe at a time. Due to the durability and engineered design of the PipePillo®, the contractor was able to simply reuse each support by leap-frogging the PipePillo® support as the stringing progressed. In addition to reducing raw expenses, labor, and freight, the use of PipePillo® structured pipeline supports throughout the Daytona Pipeline build also increased the speed at which this project was completed and the overall safety of those involved.
