2018 Check-up: Conferences

As the calendar turned over to 2018, we continued to actively connect with our customers, suppliers, and other industry leaders. From trade shows to conferences, site visits and walk-abouts, we’ve been talking to people about how we protect what you build. We wanted to take this opportunity and highlight a few things we’ve heard from our team in the field in 2018, and invite you to contact us about any upcoming conventions!

Robin “Rocky” Seils, Director of Sales

Rocky forged connections with other industry contributors at the annual PLCA Convention [1] in Kauai, HI. Here’s what he had to say about it:

“We always aim to share experiences and make connections with project superintendents and project managers at the conventions we attend. Learning and sharing as much information as we can from other vendors and attendees about the industry and its trends is essential, and the time spent with other industry leaders is always a highlight.”

Kenney Hutchison, Regional Sales

Kenney attended APCA [2] in Malapan, FL. He had a few thoughts to share:

“The APCA is a great opportunity to get face to face with some of the people you otherwise may not have been able to meet. Being able to put faces to the names of people we’ve been working with really helps solidify the relationships we build.”

Cam Cunningham, Business Development

Cam attended both the Marcellus-Utica Midstream Conference [3] in Pittsburgh, PA  and the Spring Gas Conference & Expo [4] in Columbia, SC.

“We’ve been busy supplying operators and constructors in the Utica and Marcellus area, so it was great to attend a conference with a focus on that location. Being able to meet and greet our existing customers as well as introduce ourselves to new ones was very valuable. The Spring Gas Conference was a more technical conference aimed at Natural Gas Operators and I was able to learn while getting to meet technical staff I might not have been able to meet if not for the Southern Gas Association’s conference.”

Geoff Connors, Founder and CEO

Geoff attended the European Pipeline Technology Conference [5] in Berlin, Germany. It was paired with the spring session of IPLOCA [6] with a focus on Novel Construction Initiatives.

“I always enjoy meeting with my friends at IPLOCA. Every few months or so, we can get together and discuss ideas and consider new products that will help us all, together, build better pipelines.”

We’ve also had the pleasure of attending INGAA’s Spring Meeting [7] in Lost Pines, TX, the PLCAC [8] convention in Nashville, TN, and CEPA [9] held in Montreal, QC. Stay in touch to find out where we will be attending next.

We’re proud to be industry leaders in integrity and pipeline protection, and attending these conferences give us the opportunity to meet with you, the builders and constructors who’s pipelines and hard work we want to protect.
