We recently spent some time investing in our small tight-knit team by taking the afternoon off and doing some team building. Regular team building days help us come together to share ideas and refocus on our goals and values. It’s easy to be swept up in the day-to-day, and taking a step back to invest in our team is a big part of PipeSak. We began with a few light meetings then followed with a Q1 Corporate Update. Pizza from Pizza Projekt gave us the required nutrient count for the next stage – a friendly competition. We set off to downtown London to the Exodus Escape Rooms.

Competing head-to-head in the identical ‘Gemini’ escape rooms, which boast only a 5% escape rate, both teams managed to pull through at the end. Both teams did their best to guess, discover and escape faster than the other team. Congratulations to ‘The Engineers’ for finishing first, and to ‘Ryan’s Angels’ for buying the first round of drinks at Toboggan where we finished our session.

Changing the environment and focus for an afternoon helps us experience the creative side of our team and in the process we’ve discovered new talents. We’re all looking forward to our next team meeting and development in July!
